WASHINGTON, DC – On Tuesday, August 6, President Obama will travel from Phoenix, AZ to Los Angeles, CA where he will remain overnight. On Wednesday, August 7, President Obama will depart from LAX to Washington, DC. The arrival and departure of Air Force One are open press. All other events in the Los Angeles area are pooled press only.

Members of the media who wish to cover Air Force One ARRIVAL on Tuesday, August 6, must RSVP HERE by 2:00 PM PDT Monday, August 5, 2013.

Members of the media who wish to cover Air Force One DEPARTURE on Wednesday, August 7, must RSVP HERE by 2:00 PM PDT Monday, August 5, 2013.

Media Check-in: Media will check in at gate 437B. This gate is located at the intersection of Sandpiper Street and Pershing Drive on the west side of the Los Angeles International Airport.

Media Parking: Directed on site

All media credentialed by the White House and expecting to drive their vehicles under escort onto the airfield to the arrival/departure site, MUST display a valid LAX Media Parking Permit.

Any media needing a one-time permit should submit a request on media letterhead, signed by a news editor/director, and include the following information: vehicle license plate number, vehicle type, description and registration.
