ABA Teleconference to Address Interpretation, Enforcement of Chemical Management Laws

CHICAGO, June 11, 2010 —The American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy, and Resources will hold a lunchtime teleconference called “Meet the Administration: A Luncheon Visit with Associate General Counsel Leslye M. Fraser S.M., J.D.” on Friday, June 18, at 11:00 a.m. Eastern.  Fraser is with the Office of General Counsel, Pesticides and Toxic Substances Law Office, U.S. EPA. 

Since chemical management is a top priority for the Lisa Jackson EPA administration, this event will look at the key legal issues being pursued by the EPA’s Pesticides and Toxic Substances Law Office, as well as introduce Fraser and her background.

The teleconference will also feature Lynn L. Bergeson, Bergeson Campbell, PC, Washington, D.C., as moderator and panelist Charles L. Franklin, Akin Gump Strauss Hauer Feld LLP, Washington, D.C. 

The teleconference was put together by the SEER Pesticides, Chemical Regulation, and Right-to-Know Committee and is cosponsored by the Environmental Law Institute. This session does not offer CLE credit.
