The Office of Electricity Delivery and Energy Reliability has released the Year-in-Review: 2012 Energy Infrastructure Events and Expansions. This publication provides a summary of significant energy disruptions and infrastructure changes that occurred in the United States throughout 2012. The focus is on the United States, but international events that impacted the United States are also reported. The 2012 YIR is based primarily on information reported in the Energy Assurance Daily (EAD) between January 1, 2012 and December 31, 2012.
