Panel of N.Y. and N.J. Disaster Preparedness Experts Address Hurricane Sandy’s Environmental Impact
WASHINGTON, D.C., Nov. 14, 2012 — New York and New Jersey environmental and disaster experts, including John Gray of the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, will discuss cleanup regulations and the environmental costs of restoring critical services after natural disasters during the American Bar Association Section of Environment, Energy and Resources Environmental Law and Hurricane Sandy teleconference Nov. 15.
The discussion will focus on how permit waivers and other steps allow the restoration of critical services quickly while complying with environmental laws.
