Tate & Lyle Brings Ingredient and Reformulation Expertise to Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation Board
DECATUR, Ill. (March 15, 2011) – Tate Lyle, a world-leading producer of food ingredients and solutions, today announced the appointment of Karl Kramer, President, Innovation and Commercial Development, to the Board of Directors of The Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation.
Kramer, formerly the President of Tate Lyle’s SPLENDA® Sucralose Division, was voted to the Board by the leaders of some of the world’s most influential consumer products companies, including General Mills, Pepsico and Kraft Foods.
As part of its commitment to The Healthy Weight Commitment Foundation's Board of Directors, Tate Lyle will provide counsel to the Foundation regarding ingredient labeling, product formulations and marketing.
