Washington, DC- Following Senator Rand Paul’s address to Howard University students on issues including civil liberties, school choice and individual rights, FreedomWorks Outreach Director Deneen Borelli released the following comment:
“It's exciting to see Senator Rand Paul taking the message of individual liberty and economic empowerment to Howard University. The need for economic prosperity is especially critical in the black community where unemployment is disproportionately high, incomes are down and public schools are failing children.
