/EINPresswire.com/ After holding the Investors in People accreditation for almost 20 years and being one of the first firms in the North West to obtain the award, Fletchers Solicitors have now been awarded the Investors in People Gold Award which recognises excellence at the highest level.

The annual assessment, which was conducted over three days, was comprised of reviewing records, assessing procedures and interviewing members of staff. None, it was felt, was more important than the staff interviews as these, totally confidential interviews, provided the Directors at Fletchers with an insight as to what the staff at Fletchers truly felt about the company and the employers for which they worked.

A number of staff that had previously worked for other firms had been quoted to have said “This is the best firm they have ever worked for” and many also described the firm as being “in this together” and “being like a family”. Director and CEO Ed Fletcher said “Building a company and a culture where people feel involved and proud to be a part of, is essential to business stability and growth, without them we would not be able to provide the exceptional service and quality of work that we, as Directors, pride ourselves on”.

In the detailed report that followed the IIP assessor commented that “There is an increasingly modern working culture at the firm, based on team work and inclusivity” and also went on to mention “People feel engaged and are proud to be working for Fletchers Solicitors, proud of the vision and values that the firm has articulated, and proud of the quality of work produced by the firm.”

Even with this recent award Fletchers are already looking towards next year and retention of the IIP Gold Award. HR Manager Alison Pye commented “Although winning this award is a huge achievement, we have no intention of sitting on our laurels. As always there is room for improvement, both in the service we deliver to clients and in the environment we create for our employees and that’s what we intend to do year on year.”
