College Golf Scholarship Advisors Names Sarah Greene Top College Recruit For Women's Golf Programs

Sarah Greene, a junior to graduate in 2014 from Albuquerque, NM, is a promising high school golfer who is an excellent student as well as athlete. According to College Golf Scholarship Advisors, she is one of the top players for college golf recruiting. She has a 4.0 GPA at Bosque High School, is a Spanish Honors student and scored a 1790 on her SATs. Besides her excellent marks in school, Sarah is an accomplished golfer who has consistently improved every year she has played the game and continues to do so. Sarah highest tournament score is an 87, lowest tournament score is 74, and she has earned a handicap of 2.3. According to the director of the Rocky Mountain Junior Golf Tour, Tracy Cologne, Sarah consistently scores in the upper 70s in RMJGT tournaments and continues to focus on fundamentals to improve her golf game. “She is a humble player and an all-around great golfer” says Cologne.
Sarah is the defending New Mexico Athletic Association’s (NMAA) A-AAA District Champion and finished in 3rd place at the New Mexico State Girls Golf Championship for 2012. She has placed in the top three of her last four High School golf tournaments, three of which were in first place and the fourth tournament she finished in 2nd place. She also finished 2nd in the Rocky Mountain Junior Golf Tour’s (RMJGT) golf tournament at the University of New Mexico Championship course in June of 2012. She placed 2nd in the RMJGT at Santa Ana Golf Course (New Mexico) in September of 2012 and placed 2nd in the RMJGT tournament at the Wigwam Golf Course (Arizona) in November of 2012.
Sarah has great potential for college golf recruiting, and is hoping to major in either Biology or Chemistry. She would be an excellent addition to any collegiate golf program.
