From sweet to zesty, Cargill will showcase innovative, health-focused prototypes that complement today’s hottest food trends
MINNEAPOLIS – March 7, 2013 – Foods such as Greek yogurt and salsa are ubiquitous to Southern Californians’ fit and healthy lifestyle. This year, visitors at Cargill’s booth during Natural Products Expo West will get to sample delicious California-inspired treats made with ingredients to help maintain heart health, manage blood sugar and promote general health and wellness. Natural Products Expo West takes place March 8-10 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
“Cargill is applying its breadth of ingredient and applications expertise to some of today’s most popular food and beverage trends,” said Pam Stauffer, Cargill marketing programs & communications manager. “To demonstrate our capabilities, this year we were inspired to create prototypes of typical west coast favorites, with healthy ingredients that make them even better.”
Attendees who stop by Booth #334 will be able to enjoy commercial products such as Hansen’s Drink Stix made with Truvia® stevia leaf extract and Corazonas Oatmeal Squares made with CoroWise® plant sterols. In addition, the follow prototypes will be served:
