Celebrate the best teen reading of 2012 with YALSA’s Best of the Best

CHICAGO — Librarians, library workers, educators, parents, teens and other young adult literature enthusiasts looking for the best teen books and media of 2012 can find them online at YALSA’s Best of the Best website. In addition to lists of YALSA’s awards and top ten lists, the Best of the Best homepage includes promotional tools featuring the award-winning 2012 books.
The Best of the Best includes:
- A complete list of all of YALSA’s book and media award winners, including the Alex, Edwards, Morris, Nonfiction, Odyssey and Printz Awards.
- The Top Ten lists from YALSA’s Amazing Audiobooks for Young Adults, Best Fiction for Young Adults, Great Graphic Novels for Teens, Popular Paperbacks for Young Adults and Quick Picks for Reluctant Young Adult Readers.
- Tools for librarians and others to promote the awards, including logos to use on websites, print projects and social media; customizable bookmarks for all of the awards and top ten lists; and bookplates and spine labels for librarians and library workers to print and apply to 2012 Best of the Best designees.
