Bookings Open for One to One Sessions at Share Fair 12
Delegates attending this year’s PILOT Share Fair 12, sponsored by CAN, are advised to book early for the popular one to one business discussion sessions which open on September 8 in advance of the event on November 3.
Allocated on a first come first served basis, the individual one to one sessions are one of the most sought after attractions at the industry event at Aberdeen’s Exhibition and Conference Centre (AECC), where major oil and gas players will be delivering presentations on their 18-month strategy for projects in the North Sea.
Brian Kinkead, Supply Chain Director, Oil & Gas UK, commented, “The one to one sessions allow delegates from small to medium sized supply chain companies the opportunity to meet potential clients face-to-face and have detailed discussions about future business plans.
“In addition to the one to one sessions, more than 160 presentations are being delivered on the day. With this year’s record breaking line up of 20 companies from both the operator and contractor communities delivering eight presentations each, we believe attendees now have the chance to hear from an even broader cross section of oil and gas companies and participate in the interactive forum. We are advising companies to send several representatives along so they can benefit their business development activities by attending all the presentations on offer.”
Two additional operators, Premier Oil Plc and RWE Dea Ltd, have joined the original list of 11 presenting companies announced in July with RWE Dea Ltd providing an update on its plans for developing projects in the Southern North Sea. Four more businesses from the contractor community; AGR Petroleum Services Ltd, PSN (Production Services Network), The SLP Group and Wood Group Engineering (North Sea) have also signed up to deliver presentations at the event which this year relocates to the main arena at the AECC. Up to 1,000 delegates from supply companies are expected to attend the 2010 event and will be among the first to hear about UK oil and gas business development opportunities estimated to be worth £4 billion.
