Update: Homestead Creamery Resumes Operations, License Reinstated

The State Milk Board, in conjunction with the Missouri Department of Agriculture and the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services, announced today that the plant license for Homestead Creamery of Jamesport has been reinstated. The facility was reinspected by the Missouri State Milk Board Tuesday, January 22, and, as a result, the license to process manufacturing grade dairy products was reinstated by Missouri's State Milk Board.
Homestead Creamery was notified Wednesday, January 23 of the inspection results and reinstatement.
Consumers who may have products included in this month's voluntary withdrawal of Homestead Creamery Flory's Favorite cheese should discard any remaining portion of that product or return the product to their point of purchase. More information about the voluntary withdrawal is available online at mda.mo.gov.
