CHICAGO, Feb. 14, 2013 – Former U.S. Rep. Patrick Kennedy will present the latest research on brain injury and mental health during a discussion on veterans’ courts and the criminal justice system at an American Bar Association health law conference Feb. 20-23 in Miami.

Kennedy, co-founder of the One Mind for Research Foundation, will speak at 9:15 a.m., Feb. 22.

Other sessions during the Emerging Issues in Healthcare Law conference include government officials, health law practitioners, industry leaders and others who will discuss compliance issues with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act; emerging trends in federal criminal, civil and administrative health care fraud enforcement; and legal advocacy for breast cancer patients.
