Judge Jed S. Rakoff, SEC, DOJ to Discuss White Collar Crime at ABA Conference in Las Vegas
WASHINGTON, D.C., Feb. 25, 2013 — Jed S. Rakoff, district judge for the Southern District of New York, will deliver the luncheon address during the 27th Annual National Institute on White Collar Crime hosted by the American Bar Association Section of Criminal Justice March 6 – 8 at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
Legal experts, including representatives from the Securities and Exchange Commission and the U.S. Department of Justice, will discuss hot topics such as the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act; money laundering; white collar crime sentencing, investigation and prosecution; environmental and securities enforcement; and tax and health care fraud.
