Bill Bloomfield Endorses Odysseus Bostick for Los Angeles City Council (District 11)
/EINPresswire.com/ Bill Bloomfield endorses Odysseus Bostick for Los Angeles City Council District 11
Odysseus Bostick's campaign for Los Angeles City Council District 11 received an important endorsement this week when Bill Bloomfield announced his support for Odysseus’ candidacy.
"When I met with Odysseus, I was impressed by his realistic understanding of the city’s budget crisis and courage to speak up on important, but often ignored, issues: pension reform, the need for true budget transparency and advocating for performance based budgeting with goals and metrics. Clearly, these ideas need to be front and center, and Odysseus is leading that charge in District 11."
In accepting the endorsement, Odysseus stated, “I am thrilled to have Bill’s support because it signals to the community that there is a true independent movement in our city to break the grip that special interests have on our political leaders. In his own campaign, Bill ran on his own ideas and not the party orthodoxy. That is something I admire and have tried to emulate.”
This endorsement is an important turning point in the campaign as it enters the final weeks.
