The Royal We Films, the award-winning independent film company with a penchant for making low cost films with high quality production values, is proud to announce even more critical acclaim for their most recent film, HATED.

The powerful film about the underground music scene, the price of fame and fortune, and the dark, smoke-filled corners where human nature and the contemporary music industry meet, has been taking film festivals around the world by storm.

Currently featured at the Reel Independent Film Extravaganza, HATED has already earned nominations for Best Actress (Genevieve Padalecki), Best Supporting Actress (Ellen Woglom), and Best Director (Lee Madsen). "We are delighted that audiences and critics alike have connected so passionately to the complex themes and brutally honest performances in HATED," says writer/director Lee Madsen. "It has truly been a labor of love on all of our parts, and it is humbling to continue to receive so much positive recognition for our work."

HATED will be screened at the Sun and Sand Film & Music Festival (Biloxi) November 7-11, the Women's Independent Film Festival (LA) November 2-3, and the Newport International Film Festival (UK) November 17.
