Steel Day is an annual event sponsored by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) to promote an understanding of the use of steel in the built environment. Each year, the AISC joins with steel fabricators, steel mills and service centers, galvanizers, steel forming companies and others in the steel fabrication supply chain across the country to host educational events, facility tours, jobsite tours, seminars and hands-on activities.
During FabTrol System's 2012 Steel Day event, Brian Williams, FabTrol Systems' product manager and a former steel fabricator, will give a 30-minute lunch-hour talk titled "Build Value by Communicating with Steel Fabricators via an MIS Tool." His talk will include descriptions of real-world scenarios that demonstrate the value of MIS tools in the steel fabrication sector, and will include examples from FabTrol Pro, the company's recent addition to its line of integrated steel fabrication management solutions.
