Bachmann Welcomes New Business, 100 Jobs to St. Cloud
Congresswoman Michele Bachmann (MN-06) released the following statement today after German agricultural company, Geringhoff Worldwide, announced St. Cloud as the location for its first North American factory:
“The announcement that Geringhoff Worldwide has chosen to call St. Cloud home to their first North American factory is tremendous news for the community.
“Geringhoff will not only bring 100 new jobs to the area, but it will serve a vital role in the local economy by servicing and complimenting Central Minnesota’s thriving agricultural industry. Geringhoff chose a superb location and a dedicated workforce when it chose the St. Cloud area. I’m confident that Geringhoff will find Minnesotans share its same innovative spirit and drive for success.
“While the closing of The Donlin Co. was saddening and left an empty feeling in this close-knit community, the arrival of Geringhoff Worldwide represents a new beginning. I am proud to welcome Geringhoff to St. Cloud, and I look forward to them opening up shop.”
