The FSAI have been informed that fresh mussels sold between 16th June and 2nd July 2012 by Cromane Mussels trading as Skellig Seafoods, (approval number IE KY 0013 EC) are being withdrawn from the market due to a possible association with human illness.  Mussels from Cromane Mussels bearing either of these batch codes should be withdrawn from customers and discarded or returned to Cromane Mussels. The mussels are usually supplied in 10kg bags.
