L-3 Communications Wins $47 Million Navy Contract

June 8, 2009 (FinancialWire) — L-3 Communications (NYSE: LLL) has been awarded a follow-on contract by the U.S. Navy to support its Aircraft Structural Life Surveillance program. This five-year contract consists of a base year plus four option years, with a total contract value of $47.8 million.

Under the award, L-3 will provide engineering and information services under this contract to manage the structural life of the Navy’s fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
