Climate, Environment, and Conservation: U.S. Special Envoy for Climate Change Todd Stern Travel to Paris
In advance of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference of Parties (COP21), U.S. Special Envoy for Climate Change Todd Stern is traveling, November 6–11, to Paris.
During his visit, Special Envoy Stern will join climate ministers from more than 80 nations as part of a formal pre-COP21 meeting. Negotiators will review COP21 logistics and continue multilateral discussions on the key issues in advance of COP21.
Special Envoy Stern will also represent U.S. interests during multiple bilateral meetings over the course of the trip, supporting efforts to secure an ambitious, durable, and transparent global climate agreement.
