About the artist: Linda Newberry was forced to quit her job in corporate America due to the crippling and fatigue of severe rheumatoid arthritis. She began oil painting again after setting it down for over 30 years, finding that even though her dominant hand and arm have crippled her art has more depth than in earlier years. Art has given her a way to contribute, to define herself beyond a crippling disease, and to motivate other people (and herself) with beauty.
