ACTIVITY IN PORTUGAL MINERAL SPACE GAINS MOMENTUM

LISBOA, PORTUGAL, August 20, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- PP-Minerals is pleased to announce the successful contract signing establishing its Mata-da-Rainha Exploration License. The agreement with the Portuguese Government through Direção-Geral de Energia e Geologia (DGEG) is for two years and can be extended up to five years.

The 206 km2 Mata-da-Rainha License area lay within the Góis-Panasqueira-Segura tungsten-tin belt of the Beira Baixa Province in Central Portugal approximately 40 km to the east of the famous, prodigious, tungsten-producing center Minas da Panasqueira.

Historically, the permit area was intensely exploited during WW II and thus contains several old tungsten-tin mines surrounding Mata-da-Rainha and superficial diggings and cuts for tin 10 km to the SE in the vicinity of Bemposta,
