I am genuinely excited to be able to serve our local heroes. They put their lives on the line for us every day, so I want to give back to them in every way I can. I am so grateful for their service.

HONOLULU, HAWAII, USA, April 14, 2015 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Keller Williams Honolulu, Real Estate consultant Pamela Cleere is a Certified Military Relocation Professional in Hawaii. She is also a retired Military Veteran. “I began my Military career in Texas” she says, “I trained at Lackland Air Force Base and my first assignment in Logistics was Sembach AB, Germany. After transferring to Charleston AFB, SC, I entered the Weather Technology field as a Weather Forecaster.”

Recently, Pamela has dedicated herself to assisting local heroes, including police officers, firefighters, emergency medical technicians, military members, veterans, teachers, health care workers, and others that serve the local community. In this manner, she can help when they are buying a home, selling a home, or investing in Real Estate.

A hero is not someone you simply admire or respect. A hero is a very distinct person who transforms their personal virtue of passion into a civic virtue, which is heroic action. Heroes are committed to being of service to people in the community, which often involves a risk to their physical safety and quality of life.

Pamela says, “Many times when we call a person a ‘hero’ they don’t understand why they are being exalted merely for doing what they believe is the right thing to do. They are very humble in this regard and are not seeking attention by placing other people’s well- being before their own. I admire this quality in them because, essentially, our freedoms and well-being are dependent upon these few.”

Pamela knows this all too well. After assignments at Sembach AB, Germany, Charleston AFB, SC, Carswell AFB, Texas, Ramstein AFB, Germany, Hickam AFB, HI, Wheeler AAF, HI, and Youngson, South Korea, Pamela retired in 1999 from Ft. Hood, Texas. She then entered a career at L3 Communications where she obtained her Bachelor’s in Computer Studies from University of Maryland, University College. She provided software support for tactical systems while embedded with Military Units in Kuwait and Iraq.

The primary system supported was the Integrated Meteorological System (IMETS), the meteorological component of the Intelligence and Electronic Warfare. “This was my first actual experience in a combat zone” Pamela recalls, “but what stands out the most in my mind is not the danger we were in, but the real purpose of us being there. One day, on Easter Sunday on our convoy through IRAQ, I was approached by a young boy and he asked me ‘what is your name?’ I told him ‘My name is Pamela’ and he looked directly into my eyes and said ‘I love you Pamela.’ I knew right then and there how deeply the American Military was appreciated in their country.”

When Pamela returned to the United States she was ready to embark on another career, and since she had always loved houses, going to open houses and a strong passion to build her own business, Real Estate would be an exciting new profession for her.

Hawaii held a special place in her heart where her last reenlistment in the Air Force was at Pearl Harbor and she always loved the culture and the Aloha spirit of the Islands.

Pamela relocated back to Hawaii, graduated from the Graduate Real Estate Institute and now serves the local community. “I find it very rewarding to assist families find their ideal homes and selling their homes to move on to the next chapter in their lives” she says, “and I am genuinely excited to be able to serve our local heroes. It really touches their hearts when they find out they’re actually a ‘hero’. They put their lives on the line for us every day so I want to give back to them in every way I can - to show my appreciation for them. I am so grateful for their service.”

Indeed, our local heroes have within themselves the unimaginable fortitude to change the lives of others with absolute sacrifice and unmitigated determination.

Pamela says, “I feel at home working with people who serve their community in the capacity that our heroes serve. There is a trust factor that exists that I’m very comfortable with, which I’m sure is due to my military career.”
