China In-Focus: Huang Named Acting CFO At China Housing
June 5, 2009 (FinancialWire) — China Housing & Land Development, Inc., (NASDAQ: CHLN) (Current Market Cap: US$103.49 Mil.) has named Cangsang Huang as acting chief financial officer of the company. He will succeed William Xin, who is leaving the company.
Huang most recently served as assistant CFO of China Housing, a position he has held since October 2008. He started his investment banking career at Cantor Fitzgerald in 2006. Since 2007, Huang worked for Merriman Curhan & Ford followed by Collins Stewart. He helped set up Merriman and Collins Stewart’s China banking practice and participated in several China-related financing transactions, including General Steel and FUQI International.
From 2001 to 2004, Huang worked in Guangzhou, China with China Communication Construction as a project manager.
