HPV Can Cause Warts on the Feet; The CBCD Reviews the Medical Evidence

Warts are produced by an infection of the skin by the human papillomavirus (HPV). (1)

We recommend that those concerned about warts on their feet take Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin.

“Infected with the human papillomavirus (HPV)? The CBCD recommends taking Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin.” - Greg Bennett, CBCD

The most common warts on the feet are plantar warts. “A plantar wart also known as veruca, myrmecia and veruca plantaris, and is a wart caused by the human papillomavirus (HPV) occurring on the sole (Latin planta) or toes of the foot.” (2) WebMD notes that “Plantar warts ... are noncancerous skin growths … Many strains of the virus (HPV) exist, and those that cause common warts on the hands and feet are not the same strains of HPV that cause genital warts … on average plantar warts and palmer warts are small, about the size of a pencil eraser. But some warts grow bigger. Sometimes plantar warts can grow in clusters; those are called mosaic warts. ” (3)
For those who are infected and are concerned about warts on their feet, the Center for the Biology of Chronic Disease (CBCD) recommends taking Gene-Eden-VIR or Novirin. The formula of these natural antiviral products was shown to reduce symptoms associated with HPV in two separate post-marketing clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines.

The formula of Gene-Eden-VIR and Novirin was tested by Hanan Polansky and Edan Itzkovitz from the CBCD in two clinical studies that followed FDA guidelines. The studies showed that the Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR formula is effective against the HPV and other viruses. The clinical studies were published in the peer reviewed, medical journal Pharmacology & Pharmacy, the first, in a special edition on Advances in Antiviral Drugs. Study authors wrote that, “individuals infected with the HPV…reported a safe decrease in their symptoms following treatment with Gene-Eden-VIR.” (4) The study authors also wrote that “we observed a statistically significant decrease in the severity, duration, and frequency of symptoms.” (4)

Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR are natural antiviral dietary supplements. Their formula contains five natural ingredients: Selenium, Camellia Sinesis Extract, Quercetin, Cinnamomum Extract, and Licorice Extract. The first ingredient is a trace element, and the other four are plant extracts. Each ingredient and its dose was chosen through a scientific approach. Scientists at polyDNA, the company that invented and patented the formula, scanned thousands of scientific and medical papers published in various medical and scientific journals, and identified the safest and most effective natural ingredients against latent viruses. To date, Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR are the only natural antiviral products on the market with published clinical studies that support their claims.

“The virus that causes warts, the human papillomavirus, infects only the superficial layer of skin, producing a thickened callus-like growth that, if located in an areas subjected to pressure, can become quite tender. Although warts characteristically resolve spontaneously, it is occasionally necessary to treat painful plantar warts. The incubation period (the period of time between infection and the production of the visible skin lesion) is unknown but estimates vary from months to years … risk factors for the development of plantar warts include: use of public showers, skin trauma, weakened immune system because of certain medications used or illness.” (1)

Are there treatments available against the HPV?

“There are no drugs approved against the HPV. Current treatments include procedures, such as cryotherapy, conization, and the Loop Electrosurgical Excision Procedure (LEEP). These procedures use liquid nitrogen, a surgical knife (scalpel), a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser, or electrical current to remove the abnormal growths caused by the HPV. These growths include cells that harbor the active virus. The procedures do not target cells with the latent virus. Since they do not remove the latent virus, these procedures only produce a temporary remission.” (4) In contrast, Novirin and Gene-Eden-VIR were designed to target the latent HPV.
