For more than two decades, Flippers has generously donated food, supplies, and volunteer hours to area schools, medical centers, and non-profits. During that time, thousands of dollars have also been raised through in-restaurant fundraisers and events.

According to Pfister, Flippers Pizzeria will be quite busy donating to local charities and events this spring. The pizzeria plans to support Paint Orlando Blue, a campaign organized by the Howard Phillips Center for Children & Families that raises awareness and promotes the prevention of child abuse. The campaign will last throughout the entire month of April, which is known nationwide as National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Following the Paint Orlando Blue effort, Flippers Pizzeria will recognize and support the 38th Annual Golden South Classic presented by Adidas by providing pizzas and salads to the more than 175 volunteers. The proceeds raised at the event support the renowned sports medicine program at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children, ranked by U.S. News & World Report as one of the nation’s top children’s hospitals.
