CareXM adds Home-Based Care Industry Leader, Carla Davis, to its Board of Directors
CareXM, the leading provider of clinical triage and virtual care coordination solutions for post-acute care, announced today that Carla Davis has been appointed as an independent member of its Board of Directors, effective May 6, 2025. Davis joins the Board following an impressive 30-year career in home health and hospice, serving most recently as Senior Vice President of Hospice Operations at LHC Group.
“We are excited to welcome Carla to CareXM’s Board of Directors,” said Si Luo, chief executive officer at CareXM. “Carla was one of the first customer leaders I had the privilege of meeting after joining CareXM, and from our first conversation, her unwavering commitment to advancing the patient and caregiver experience in hospice and home-based care settings at large was evident. Having her compassion, vision, and perspective on our board represents a significant opportunity to guide the company in its rapid growth and evolution to become the most reliable triage solution partner for home-based care organizations. I’m confident that her expertise and influence will play a pivotal role in shaping our future.”
“After decades in home-based care, I’ve seen how critical after-hours triage and patient care coordination are to both the patient experience and the experience of care teams. What excites me most about joining the Board at this moment is CareXM’s experience in supporting our industry’s rapid consolidation and growth. That experience is meeting a moment of technological breakthrough in pragmatic application of AI that stands to create real impact on reducing the pressure triage and visit nurses face. I look forward to joining the board during this exciting moment and working together with the management team to advance the experience of patients, families, and staff throughout the advanced illness journey,” said Carla Davis, newly appointed board member.
