(NASDAQ: HRLY) said that its Herley New England division in Woburn, Massachusetts, has received a $3 million contract from a U.S. prime contractor to produce diplexers and attenuators for use in radar warning receivers.
Radar warning receivers are electronic systems that detect all radar signals, determine the threat levels, and command countermeasures.
Pennsylvania-based Herley is engaged in the design, development and manufacture of microwave technology solutions for the defense, aerospace and medical industries worldwide.
Herley has six manufacturing locations and around 1000 employees.
