Agriculture Watch: N-Viro Customer Wins Environmental Award

(OTCBB: NVIC), an environmental technology firm that markets an alternative fuel manufacturing process and agricultural products, said that a Crossville, Tennessee wastewater facility that utilizes N-Viro's process has won the Tennessee Water Environment Association's 2010 Tennessee Beneficial Reuse of Biosolids Award. The Crossville facility, which is operated by Veolia Water (NYSE: VE), has been in operation producing N-Viro Soil since 1998.
According to N-Viro, all the N-Viro Soil produced at the plant is reused in the local agricultural market, and that currently orders exceed production levels.
The N-Viro Soil produced in Crossville is used in hay and pasture applications in the Crossville area.
Ohio-based N-Viro International owns technologies to convert various types of waste into beneficial alternative fuel products, including the renewable biofuel N-Viro Fuel and N-Viro Soil.
Its renewable biofuel technology, N-Viro Fuel, has received alternative energy status from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, which qualifies the technology for renewable energy incentives.
