Governor pledges interaction with all
Cabinda, ANGOLA, October 13 - The governor of the northern Cabinda province Eugénio Laborinho promised Thursday to promote open and interactive governance with the collaboration and contribution of all in seeking solutions to the social well-being of the population. ,
Eugénio Laborinho said so at meeting with the members of the social consultation council in municipality of Belize, during his first visit to the province's inland, since his appointment as governor of Cabinda.
The governor assured the implementation of a "complaint book", in which citizens can file their complaints and denounce the inappropriate practices and behaviour among officials and managers, "including the governor himself", as public servants.
During his term, Eugénio Laborinho said he will focus mainly on education, health, roads as well as fighting illegal immigration and garbage.
