Gazprom capital LLC places first exchange-traded bonds

Gazprom capital LLC, a subsidiary of Gazprom, successfully placed two debut issues of exchange-traded bonds of the BO-5 and BO-6 series at the Moscow Exchange today. The bonds are worth a total of RUB 30 billion and have a maturity of 10 years with an early settlement option after 7 years.

The coupon rate for the BO-5 and BO-6 series is set at 8.9 per cent per annum. This is the minimum rate for Russian corporate borrowers placing their exchange-traded bonds for the said period since 2015.

The proceeds of the bonds will be appropriated for Gazprom's general corporate purposes.

Gazprom capital LLC is a special-purpose subsidiary set up to attract financing for Gazprom from the Russian capital market.

Sberbank CIB, VTB Capital, and Gazprombank acted as the co-arrangers for the issue of the BO-5 series, while Sberbank CIB and VTB Capital arranged for the issue of the BO-6 series.

Another two ruble-denominated bond issues of Gazprom сapital LLC with a total worth of RUB 15 billion are also currently in circulation on the Moscow Exchange. One of those issues, which is worth a total of RUB 10 billion, will be redeemed on February 16, 2017.
