RUSSIA, March 28 - Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation Zhang Hanhui.

The parties discussed issues related to implementing the tasks set by the heads of state following talks between President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and President of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping on March 21, 2023, primarily in the context of the Joint Statement on the Plan to Promote Key Elements of Chinese-Russian Economic Cooperation until 2030.

“The governments of Russia and China have been instructed to draft and approve the Plan to Promote Key Elements of Russian-Chinese Economic Cooperation until 2030, which will become a roadmap for practical interaction between our countries in the medium term. The work on drafting the plan is underway,” Dmitry Chernyshenko said.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Russian Federation Zhang Hanhui also discussed the schedule of upcoming contacts at the level of senior officials of the governments of Russia and China.
