YEDI Addresses the Hardship of Accessing Education for Entrepreneurs with Tuition-Free Diploma Program

YEDI's mission is to bridge the gap between entrepreneurs and access to high level education.

NORTH YORK, ONTARIO, CANADA, January 24, 2023 /EINPresswire.com/ -- The York Entrepreneurship Development Institute (YEDI) is committed to addressing the challenges that entrepreneurs face when it comes to accessing education. That's why the organization is excited to announce that its Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management Diploma Program is tuition-free for Canadian entrepreneurs.

Entrepreneurship is an important driver of economic growth with approximately 20% of the adult population involved in or starting a business according to the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor. Starting and growing a business can be a daunting task, especially for those who lack the resources and education to do so. Access to education is a critical piece of the puzzle, but for many entrepreneurs, the cost of tuition can be a barrier.

"We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to succeed as an entrepreneur, regardless of their financial situation," said Dr. Marat Ressin, President of YEDI. "That's why we've made our diploma program tuition-free for Canadian entrepreneurs. We want to make sure that anyone who has the drive and passion to start a business has the opportunity to do so."

The program will cover a range of topics including business planning, marketing, financial management, and leadership. It will also provide students with hands-on experience through case studies, workshops, and business simulation exercises. Alongside the instructors is YEDI’s extensive database of mentors who are prepared to pass on their knowledge from their own lived experiences to help guide the next generation of entrepreneurs towards success.

The program will be offered on a full-time basis and classes will be held in the evening to accommodate the schedules of working professionals. The program will take approximately 12 months to complete.

YEDI’s mission is to bridge the gap between high-level education and the entrepreneurs who seek it. To achieve this, they have secured funding to ensure innovative Canadian entrepreneurs and small business owners may access this program tuition free, conditional on academic performance. *(Academic performance of 80% average or higher per semester.)

YEDI is seeking passionate entrepreneurs, small business owners, and employees that are hoping to innovate and improve their industries and areas of expertise.

Applications for the program are now being accepted and interested individuals can find more information on the YEDI website.
