Route 4019 Mt. Royal Boulevard Drilling Starts Tuesday in Allegheny County


Pittsburgh, PA – PennDOT District 11 is announcing drilling operations on Route 4019 (Mt. Royal Boulevard) in Hampton and Shaler townships, Allegheny County will begin Tuesday, September 27 weather permitting.

Drilling operations will occur on Mt. Royal Boulevard between Irene Street and Route 8 weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Tuesday, October 4. Single-lane alternating traffic with flaggers will occur as crews from Armstrong Drilling conduct drilling operations.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles, including color-coded winter conditions on 2,900 miles, by visiting www.511PA.com. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information, and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.
