TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, Florida Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jimmy Patronis released the following statement in support of Governor Ron DeSantis’ efforts to fight back against Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) ratings being pushed on America’s economy and investment strategies by economic activists. The CFO issued a letter to the State Board of Administration (SBA) in June to set expectations that ESG ratings may not be used for Florida investments.
