Stoney Bank Road to Close Next Week for Pipe Replacement in Thornbury Township

King of Prussia, PA – Stoney Bank Road is scheduled to close 24/7 between Glen Mills Road and Forge Road in Thornbury Township, Delaware County, on Thursday, July 21, and Friday, July 22, for pipe replacement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.

During the closure, Stoney Bank Road motorists will be directed to use Glen Mills Road, Cheyney Road, and U.S. 1 (Baltimore Pike). Local access will be maintained during the operation.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays may occur. The schedule is weather dependent.
