Survey of commercial and industrial waste arisings 2010 – interim results

Defra today published interim estimates from the Department’s Survey of Commercial and Industrial Waste Arisings 2010, covering eight English Regions (excluding North West England) for 2009 calendar year. These results provide estimates of the amount of waste that businesses generate and how it is managed, based on information collected from businesses through face-to-face and telephone interviews, combined with directly supplied industry data.
