New book urges Americans to use scientific approach to voting
WILMINGTON, N.C. (MMD Newswire) September 2, 2010 -- How To Vote To Save This Country: An American Guide To Voting by Tony Maglione offers a new approach to voting for Americans who are fed up with politics as usual.
According to Maglione, the American political system is in a state of crisis since many voters seem to be inadequately judging the qualifications of candidates for office. He argues that many are swayed by a candidate's advertising and image while neglecting the key differences among politicians. In How To Vote, Maglione sets forth a system of analysis that applies the same sort of deductive reasoning used by medical doctors in an effort to empower voters to more easily determine the value of a particular candidate. By comparing different categories of candidates and explaining the motivations and personality types of the members of each category, the book aims to help voters by quickly narrowing the field to the candidate most suited for the job.
"The candidates we vote into office shape our nation's future - for better or worse," Maglione says. "My book will enable Americans to make better, more informed decisions at this crucial time in history."
How To Vote To Save This Country was inspired by the author's experience with socialized medicine while living in Italy and the long-running debate surrounding health care legislation. Fearing for America's future, Maglione now offers readers that share his concerns the benefit of his long experience with logical analysis. The book was designed to serve as a valuable resource in the upcoming 2010 and 2012 election cycles.
