New book weaves spiritualism, mysticism and magic in tale of unlikely friendship
LASALLE, Quebec (MMD Newswire) September 13, 2010 -- Author Christian Garreffa writes about two common people who embark on a heroic journey in The Cephinian Tales: The Prince of Marion Park.
Frank Parsons' childhood was lonely, sad and, at times, terrifying. The son of an alcoholic and a religious fanatic, Frank grew up with no friends. As a teen, he ran away and began living on the streets. That's where he meets Simon, an old homeless drunkard who will eventually change his life forever
As it turns out, Simon is much more than a rowdy, old vagrant, and when Frank turns 40 he has a whole new appreciation for the lessons Simon taught him when he was a troubled teenager looking to end it all. Simon is a miracle worker, and his miracles lead Frank back to God.
