Montreal, Quebec, Canada — Redmond O'Neal, the son of the late Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O'Neal, just can't seem to keep his nose clean - literally.

While on a 24-hour pass from his Los Angeles drug rehabilitation program late last month, O'Neal was arrested again on felony drug charges.

Police transported him to the Los Angeles Men's Central Jail. O'Neal could face up to six years in prison for this latest transgression, since it violated his probation terms from a previous drug offense.

"It seems to me you haven't got a clue as to what recovery means," Judge Michael Tynan told the youngest O'Neal during a court hearing in early January. "It's a lifetime commitment. It's grinding, hard, painful work."

Judge Tynan ordered O'Neal into a 30-day jail rehab facility pending a Feb. 2 progress report.

The troubled young man was serving time in jail for violating his probation on past drug charges and was ordered to undergo intensive drug treatment.
