Suspect Sought in an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) Offense: 2800 Block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast
Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s Sixth District seek the public’s assistance in identifying and locating a suspect in reference to an Assault with a Dangerous Weapon (Gun) offense that occurred on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, in the 2800 block of Alabama Avenue, Southeast.
At approximately 10:04 pm, the suspect approached the victim at the listed location. The suspect brandished a handgun and pointed it at the victim then fled the scene.

The Metropolitan Police Department currently offers a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a violent crime committed in the District of Columbia.
