LILYPONS WATER GARDENS 28TH ANNUAL KOI & WINE FESTIVAL

Adamstown, MD - August 25, 2008 -- Celebrate the end of summer with Lilypons Water Gardens at the 28th annual Koi & Wine Festival, Saturday and Sunday, August 30th & 31st, 9:30 - 5:30. Fine arts and crafts, festival foods, wine tasting, courtesy of Sugarloaf Mountain Vineyard, live entertainment, The Star Spangled Big Band, and face painting for the children are some of the activities scheduled.
In addition to the Koi & Wine Festival, the 2nd Annual Chesapeake Dock Dog Competition will be taking place. The competition exhibits a dog's jumping ability. The owner will throw a toy off a dock into a pond to see how far or high their animal can jump while being scored by the judges.
That's not all there is to offer. From elegant and exotic water lilies to the newest innovations in filtering ponds, we have everything you need to create a tranquil water garden. All of this is situated on land dotted with ponds featuring aquatic plants, display gardens and walking paths.
