(Washington, DC) – Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Department’s First District seek the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in an Unlawful Discharge of a Firearm offense that occurred on Sunday, December 26, 2021, in the 700 block of H Street, Northwest.

At approximately 6:29 pm, members of the First District responded to the listed location for the sound of gunshots. Upon arrival, officers located evidence of a firearm being discharged. After further investigation, two vehicles, including a Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority bus were damaged in the incident. At the time of the report, there were no injuries reported.
