Leading the 2021 National Winners for Saudi Arabia is The Red Sea Project's Coastal Village Residential Building, The Red Sea Project's Coastal Village Management Hotel Building, Atlantis The Palm - F&B Pods at Aquaventure Waterpark Phase 3 submitted by Dupod which claimed the National Winner award for Small Project of the Year and was also nominated as a Finalist for the Innovation and Sustainability Medals.

Manufacturing, construction and engineering company Alfanar followed Dupod with the second highest number of winning submissions claiming the Mega Project of the Year and Power transmission distribution & substation Project of the Year awards for their SMART METER ROLLOUT (COA - EOA), KSA and EPC of Primary Electrical Substation-3 380/115/33 KV and associated D/C 380 KV OHLs projects respectively.

Each of these projects will now be reviewed against its MENA rivals for the regional honours to determine the final winners of the 2021 MEED Projects Awards in association with Mashreq at a gala awards reception taking place on December 8th in Dubai.

The awards ceremony is bringing together the leaders of the infrastructure industry from across the MENA region to celebrate their outstanding successes and contributions despite the numerous challenges faced over the last year with the COVID-19 pandemic.
