SUMMARY OF CRASH:

On 05/28/2021 at approximately 1515 hours, the Vermont State Police initiated a traffic stop on Green Ave in the town of Richford. The suspect vehicle, Vehicle #1, fled from the Trooper and subsequently caused a three-car motor vehicle crash. The operator, later identified as Andrew Brace of Richford VT fled from the crash scene on foot. Troopers located and apprehended Brace with assistance from the Franklin County Sheriff's Department and U.S Customs and Border Patrol. Indicators of impairment were detected while Brace was being taken into custody. Investigation also revealed Brace had a criminally suspended driver's license and multiple outstanding warrants. Brace was transported to the Vermont State Police St. Albans Barracks where a DUI investigation was conducted. Brace subsequently lodged at Northwest Regional Correctional Facility on his outstanding warrants.
