Philadelphia Water Department to Restrict Westbound Kelly Drive Through June for Utility Improvement

02/19/2021

King of Prussia, PA – The Philadelphia Water Department is planning a westbound lane closure on Kelly Drive between Ridge Avenue and Calumet Street in Philadelphia beginning Monday, March 1, for water main improvements, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today. The lane closure will be in place 24/7 through Tuesday, June 1.

Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.

The Philadelphia Water Department will complete this project under a PennDOT Highway Occupancy Permit.
