Lane Restrictions Start Next Week on Route 15 NB/SB in Union County

​Montoursville, PA – Motorists who travel Route 15 northbound and southbound are advised of lane restrictions starting next week in Lewisburg Borough, Kelly, East Buffalo and Union Townships, Union County for roadway maintenance.

On Tuesday, October 20 through Friday, October 30, a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) maintenance crew will be performing shoulder cutting along Route 15 between the Union/Snyder County line and the West Milton ramps. Motorists can expect alternating lane restrictions while the work is being performed. Work will be performed between the hours of 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert, watch for changing traffic patterns, slow down, and drive with caution through work zones.

Work on this project will be in accordance with Centers for Disease Control and state Department of Health guidance as well as a project-specific COVID-19 safety plan, which will include protocols for social distancing, use of face coverings, personal and job-site cleaning protocols, management of entries to the jobsite, and relevant training.
