U.S. Highway 95 Nightly Ramp Closures October 7-9 in Northwest Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, NEV. – The Nevada Department of Transportation (NDOT) announces the following U.S. Highway 95 ramp closures in northwest Las Vegas:

Wednesday Night – Thursday Morning (October 7-8) • The southbound U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road/Centennial Center Boulevard offramp will be closed from 9 p.m., October 7, until 5 a.m., October 8, in northwest Las Vegas. • The northbound U.S. Highway 95 to Buffalo Drive offramp will be closed from 9 p.m., October 7, until 5 a.m., October 8, in northwest Las Vegas.

Thursday Night – Friday Morning (October 8-9) • The southbound U.S. Highway 95 to Ann Road/Centennial Center Boulevard offramp will be closed from 9 p.m., October 8, until 5 a.m., October 9, in northwest Las Vegas. • The northbound U.S. Highway 95 to Buffalo Drive offramp will be closed from 9 p.m., October 8, until 5 a.m., October 9, in northwest Las Vegas.

The temporary closures are needed to safely patch outside bridge railing and girders as part of the current $73 million phase of the Centennial Bowl. Las Vegas Paving Corp. is the general contractor. The project is scheduled to finish in mid-December.

Motorists should use caution while travelling through the work zone, heed construction signage, and take alternate detour routes, if possible. NDOT works with Waze to inform the public about planned highway restrictions, but unscheduled construction changes, closures and restrictions are possible due to weather or other factors.
