ORLANDO, Fla. – Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Jimmy Patronis today spoke to the Florida Police Benevolent Association Leadership Conference in Orlando about the significance of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) benefits legislation for first responders which was passed during the 2018 Legislative Session. CFO Jimmy Patronis said, “I was proud to join members of Florida's law enforcement community today in Orlando to talk an important issue—their access to vital PTSD benefits. These brave men and women put their lives on the line every day to protect our state and that's why we fought for essential benefits to help with the challenges of their profession. I encourage every first responder to know that Florida has their back when it comes to fighting PTSD."
